Star charms are often worn for reasons including personal significance and symbolism. Those symbolisms often include
🌟 Personal Meaning: The star charm may hold a special meaning or significance to the individual wearing it. It could represent a personal goal, a cherished memory, or a reminder of a loved one.
🌟 Inspiration and Guidance: Some individuals wear a star charm as a source of inspiration and guidance. It can serve as a reminder to stay focused on their dreams and aspirations, acting as a symbolic guiding light.
🌟 Fashion and Style: Star charms are often worn as decorative accessories to enhance one's fashion and style. They can add a touch of whimsy, elegance, or personal flair to an outfit.
🌟 Spiritual or Cultural Beliefs: Stars hold spiritual or cultural significance in many belief systems. Wearing a star charm may be a way to express one's connection to those beliefs or to honour a particular cultural or religious tradition.
Ultimately, the reasons for wearing a star charm can vary from person to person, and it's a personal choice influenced by individual preferences, beliefs, and aesthetics.
These cute little minimalistic 9ct gold star charms are handmade by me in my little workshop in Devon using recycled gold. The gold is heated to melting point, where it then takes it’s natural form as a gold nugget blob. The blob is then formed under pressure in to this delicate star shape, where it is then carefully finished by hand.
This little charm is available to purchase alone so that you can match it with a suitable chain of your liking (please see my chain listings for some unique, quality chains) or you can chose to add a 16”, 1.3mm link belcher / rolo chain to your order, made from either sterling silver or 14k gold fill.
Gold jewellery where one piece weighs less than 1 gram is not legally required to be hallmarked by law in the UK. This charm weighs less than 1 gram so does not need to be hallmarked, however you can rest assured that the materials I use are quality controlled and sourced from reputable suppliers within the UK.
If you would like your charm to be tested by the London assay office and hallmarked with my makers mark to show authenticity, then please message me to discuss, but bare in mind that this will be reflected in the cost and processing time.
