The poison bottle charm often carries deep symbolism, representing various concepts. Historically, poison bottles were used to hold toxic substances, making them associated with danger, secrecy, and hidden intentions. In a metaphorical sense, the charm can symbolize protection against negative influences or toxic relationships. It can also serve as a reminder of personal strength in overcoming challenges or embracing one's own uniqueness. The poison bottle charm's symbolism is multifaceted, encompassing themes of caution, transformation, and the complexities of human nature.
These cute little Poison bottle pendants are handmade to order by me in my little workshop in Devon using recycled materials. The gold is heated to melting point, where it then takes it’s natural form as a gold nugget blob. The blob is then formed under pressure in to this cute little Poison bottle shape where it is then carefully finished by hand.
This little charm is available to purchase alone so that you can match it with a suitable chain of your liking (please see my chain listings for some unique, quality chains) or you can chose to add a 16”, 1.3mm link belcher / rolo chain to your order, made from either sterling silver or 14k gold fill.
Gold jewellery where one piece weighs less than 1 gram is not legally required to be hallmarked by law in the UK. This charm weighs less than 1 gram so does not need to be hallmarked, however you can rest assured that the materials I use are quality controlled and sourced from reputable suppliers within the UK.
If you would like your charm to be tested by the London assay office and hallmarked with my makers mark to show authenticity, then please message me to discuss, but bare in mind that this will be reflected in the cost and processing time.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask, I’m happy to help.
